We are seeking a highly experienced IT Disaster Recovery Manager to lead the organizations disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. The role is critical in ensuring that our IT systems, data, and infrastructure remain resilient and can be restored quickly and effectively in the event of system failures, cyber incidents, or natural disasters.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery frameworks and coordinate across IT, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure readiness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy and framework across all IT systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and recovery priorities.
• Coordinate DR drills, simulations, and tests to ensure preparedness and validate recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to maintain redundancy and failover capabilities.
• Ensure alignment with business continuity plans, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage incident response and post-recovery reviews to continuously improve DR performance.
• Maintain updated documentation of DR plans, system dependencies, and recovery metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, disaster recovery, or IT infrastructure management.
• Proven experience in disaster recovery planning, crisis management, or IT risk management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based DR strategies and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure Site Recovery, VMware SRM).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Relevant certifications are an advantage (e.g., CBCP, ITIL, ISO 22301, CISSP).
