Role: Head of Data Platform and Governance

Work Setup: Onsite, Makati
Schedule: Compressed workweek (MonThu 8:00 AM6:00 PM; Fri 8:00 AM5:00 PM; flexible hours)
Division: IT
Reports to: Head of IT

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Data Platform and Governance to lead the organizations data management, analytics infrastructure, and governance framework. This role is responsible for ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security, enabling the company to make better, faster, and more informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic and technical leaderexperienced in building enterprise data platforms, establishing governance standards, and fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the companys data platforms and data warehouse.
  • Oversee the development and rollout of the companys Data Governance Framework, including policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage and guide teams of Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Database Administrators.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls and security standards.
  • Drive data initiatives and projects in alignment with business priorities, roadmap, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define and execute the companys data strategy.
  • Support business teams with data reporting, analytics tools, and performance dashboards.
  • Promote and strengthen a data-driven culture across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT, Data Analytics, or Data Management, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong background in data governance, data platform architecture, and data quality management.
  • Experience with data management and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy, protection, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
