Job Description
The Insurance Operations Specialist plays a critical role in delivering high-quality insurance operations support within the Service Delivery Unit (SDU). This position handles complex insurance processes, ensures operational efficiency and compliance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple client systems while maintaining excellent client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Independently process complex insurance transactions using multiple client systems.
Analyze operational issues and recommend process improvements to optimize efficiency and compliance.
Communicate with clients to address operational needs and enhance overall customer experience.
Conduct audits and troubleshooting to identify gaps and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
Conduct training sessions and provide coaching support to junior team members or trainers.
Implement quality assurance checks to ensure outputs meet client and organizational standards.
Support data analysis, reporting, and onboarding of new clients or processes as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in any field.
At least 2 years of experience in insurance operations or a related role.
Training or coaching experience (e.g., former QA, Trainer, Supervisor in a BPO or insurance setup).
Strong written communication skills, particularly in email correspondence.
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
Experience creating and updating SOPs or technical/process documentation.
Background in quality assurance or process review is highly preferred.
Familiarity with OPEX, compliance processes, and insurance operations is an advantage.
