Finance & Accounting Manager – Healthcare

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and support the financial management of a healthcare organization. The role will lead the accounting team, ensure reliable financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support management in maintaining sound financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Supervise Accounting Supervisors and accounting personnel, including Billing and Cashiering.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
• Review accounting transactions and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Oversee billing, collections, cashiering, and related accounting processes.
• Utilize BizBox Hospital Information System for hospital accounting-related processes.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial and accounting concerns.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting.
• Managerial experience is preferred.
• Relevant experience in hospital, healthcare, medical center, diagnostic center, or healthcare group accounting.
• Hands-on experience with BizBox Hospital Information System.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work fully onsite in Calabarzon and extend working hours when required.
