Job Description
The IT Senior Procurement Manager (Software) leads the companys software procurement strategy, ensuring the best value, compliance, and long-term partnerships with software vendors. This role manages the full procurement lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiations to vendor performance and renewal management. Working closely with IT, Finance, and Legal teams, the role ensures software solutions align with business goals, technology needs, and budget requirements while minimizing risk and maximizing value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for software licenses, SaaS platforms, and IT solutions.

• Analyze software market trends, licensing models, and vendor risks to ensure stable and secure supply.

• Manage the full vendor lifecycle, including accreditation, performance monitoring, and contract compliance.

• Drive cost optimization through benchmarking, negotiations, volume discounts, and enterprise agreements.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with IT, Finance, and Legal teams to align procurement strategies with business and technology objectives.

• Conduct vendor evaluations and risk assessments to support long-term growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, Finance, Economics, or Business.

• At least 10 years of end-to-end procurement experience, preferably in IT or software categories.

• Strong experience in software licensing, SaaS agreements, and vendor negotiations.

• Proven expertise in cost optimization, supplier management, and risk management.

• Procurement or Supply Chain certification (CIPS, CPSM, or similar) is an advantage.

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

• Candidate must have people management experience and has handled or currently handling IT procurement category (IT Software, Hardware, or Services)
