The Strategic Organizational Development Manager acts as a key advisor to senior leadership within the technology and engineering organization, focusing on aligning organizational development strategies with business objectives. This role combines extensive expertise in organizational development with a strong foundation in various HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, compensation, and workforce planning. The manager will take on responsibilities such as driving organizational change, shaping company culture, and strategizing talent initiatives to achieve impactful business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement workforce strategies that align with organizational goals, including succession planning, talent acquisition, and retention initiatives.
- Provide coaching and development for senior leaders to enhance their effectiveness, promote inclusive leadership, and strengthen the leadership pipeline.
- Lead cultural transformation efforts that encourage innovation, collaboration, and agility in a fast-paced technology and engineering environment.
- Convert business priorities into actionable HR strategies that drive improved performance, engagement, and organizational health.
- Lead change management, organizational design, and capability-building initiatives to ensure the organization remains scalable and adaptable.
- Provide expert guidance across HR functions, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic organizational development role.
- Proven expertise in organizational development and change management.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in technology or engineering sectors is highly desirable.
- Certification in coaching (e.g., ICF) or HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is a plus.
