Audit/Accounting Associate (CPA)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Supervise billing, receipt application, collections, and monthly sales reporting.
Monitor collection performance and weekly Cash Holding Limit analysis.
Review AR aging, reconciliations, and exception items.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Oversee invoice processing and payment runs.
Review vendor Statements of Account (SOA) reconciliations.
Monitor GRNI aging and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
Review daily system reconciliations (Retek vs Oracle).
Sales Audit:
Ensure timely completion of unposted or unreceived CSA files.
Review resolution of untallied or uncaptured POS exceptions.
Oversee cash completeness audits and validation of results.
General Ledger (GL):
Review balance sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
Oversee daily bank reconciliations and follow up reconciling items.
Support month-end and non-month-end close activities.
Fixed Assets Management:
Review updates to the Fixed Assets Register, including additions, transfers, and disposals.
Ensure asset tagging and monitoring controls are properly implemented.
Financial Reporting:
Review P&L, KPI, SM, and other financial reports prior to submission.
Ensure reports are submitted accurately and within internal and external deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years of relevant finance operations experience.
Prior supervisory or senior associate experience preferred.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledgeable in ERP systems.
