Senior Associate – IT Risk Advisory

About the Role
The successful candidate will lead and support client engagements focused on IT governance, cybersecurity, information security, technology risk management, and IT assurance. This role requires strong client-facing skills, project leadership capabilities, and experience delivering advisory services to external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute IT risk, cybersecurity, and IT governance consulting engagements for clients across various industries.
- Conduct IT control assessments, cybersecurity reviews, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations.
- Facilitate client interviews, process walkthroughs, and documentation reviews.
- Evaluate technology environments, identify risks, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and review engagement workpapers, reports, and client deliverables.
- Present assessment results, findings, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior consultants and associates.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful engagement completion.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and engagement leaders to address project risks, issues, and resource requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Risk Advisory, IT Audit, IT Assurance, Cybersecurity Consulting, or related consulting roles.
- Proven experience handling external client engagements.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, information security frameworks, risk management, and IT controls.
- Experience conducting assessments, audits, compliance reviews, or consulting engagements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage engagements and lead small project teams.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred.

- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
- ISO 22301 Business Continuity Certification
- CompTIA Security+
- ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
