Merchandising Manager – Retail / Beauty

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Morning Shift

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead product strategy, assortment planning, and merchandising activities for a retail business. The role will drive sales and profitability through effective product selection, inventory management, pricing, promotions, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with sales and business objectives.
• Manage product assortment, SKU selection, pricing, promotions, and product launches.
• Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, margins, sell-through, and product trends.
• Identify opportunities for new products, brands, and category expansion.
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Manage inventory planning, replenishment, stock levels, and aging inventory.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and brand partners.
• Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Develop merchandising reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop the merchandising team.
• Ensure merchandising strategies contribute to sales growth, profitability, and inventory efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in merchandising, category management, buying, or merchandise planning.
• 2+ years of managerial or team leadership experience.
• Experience in Retail, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Personal Care, Fashion, Lifestyle, or FMCG is highly preferred.
• Strong background in assortment planning, inventory management, pricing, and promotions.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City, Monday–Friday, morning shift.
