Key Responsibilities

• Own code quality and engineering standards by leading code reviews across iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)
• Drive mobile app performance, ensuring high standards in responsiveness, stability, and scalability
• Lead, mentor, and develop the mobile engineering team, fostering strong technical expertise and continuous growth
• Champion Agile delivery, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, and backlog grooming in partnership with the Director of Software Development
• Ensure consistent and timely delivery, proactively resolving blockers and maintaining sprint commitments
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement by adopting modern mobile technologies and reducing technical debt

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 9+ years of experience in mobile development, with strong expertise in both iOS and Android platforms
• Deep knowledge of Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin (Jetpack Compose)
• Proven track record in technical leadership and managing mobile development teams
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization, scalability, and best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mobile issues
• Relevant certifications in mobile development or Agile methodologies are a plus
