Cloud Architect (Healthcare Services)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architectures that support business applications, data analytics, and enterprise operations.
- Lead the migration of on-premise systems to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud requirements, optimize workloads, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Manage and monitor cloud performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements or integrations to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership in cloud design, deployment, and automation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and security protocols (e.g., ISO, HIPAA, or local data privacy laws).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, or systems engineering.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an advantage.
