Work Schedule: Compressed Work Week

  • Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm
  • Saturday - 8am-12nn

Role Overview
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, with a strong emphasis on employee relations processes. This role ensures effective handling of employee concerns, supports HR operations, and contributes to maintaining a compliant and engaged workforce within the logistics industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR Generalist functions, with proven exposure to employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
  • With background within the logistics or transportation industry is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with other HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related concerns.
  • Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Support HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and initiatives that promote a positive work culture.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to employee relations and other HR functions.
