Role Overview
This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the training and development strategy for a large, performance-driven distribution organization. The position ensures that learning initiatives are closely aligned with the organizations value proposition and directly support business outcomes across sales and distribution channels.
The role provides strategic direction and operational leadership to ensure that people, processes, tools, and structures are effectively designed to deliver sustainable capability building for key stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Define and execute the overall training and development strategy aligned with business objectives for the distribution channel.
- Ensure organizational readiness by aligning people, processes, tools, and operating models to support learning outcomes.
- Drive transformation initiatives in response to evolving learning technologies, learner expectations, industry practices, and market dynamics.
- Design and implement training programs to support new or evolving distribution models and channels.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives requiring learning and capability development interventions.
Experience and Education
- Bachelors degree from a recognized university.
- At least ten (10) years of management-level experience in training, development, or capability building for sales leadership and field forces within financial services or related industries.
- Direct selling or frontline sales experience is an advantage.
