Cloud Solutions Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. This role plays a key part in shaping our organizations digital transformation strategy ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
As the Cloud Architect, you will work closely with the Architecture Head and cross-functional teams to define, build, and optimize cloud solutions that support critical business applications and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient Azure cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services into enterprise applications.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost.
- Implement security and compliance controls in line with industry standards and corporate policies.
- Lead the design and management of the Azure Cloud Landing Zone and hybrid cloud integrations.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams on cloud technologies, architecture patterns, and DevOps practices.
- Stay updated on the latest Azure innovations and drive continuous improvement in cloud strategy and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Proven expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPN, VNet, Load Balancer, DNS, Firewalls).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong grasp of security best practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across IT and business teams.
