Role Overview
The role supports the development and execution of category strategies to drive growth, innovation, and strong in-market performance. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable initiatives across product development, trade marketing, and execution. The position plays a key role in strengthening category competitiveness across channels.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience within the FMCG industry, with exposure to category development, trade marketing, or commercial roles

Working knowledge of category management, innovation planning, and product development processes

Experience supporting or executing category strategies across traditional and modern trade environments

Strong understanding of shopper behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape

Experience collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams

Background should not be limited to Digital or E-commerce; must include broader FMCG commercial exposure

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate insights into action
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of category strategies to deliver growth and profitability targets
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, including new product launches, product enhancements, and portfolio optimization

Analyze category, consumer, and shopper data to generate insights and recommendations

Work with Marketing and R&D teams on product concepts, positioning, and launch readiness
- Partner with Trade Marketing and Sales teams to ensure effective in-market execution aligned with category priorities

Assist in identifying growth opportunities across formats, price tiers, and usage occasions

Track category performance, competitive activity, and market trends to support strategy refinement

Help drive cross-functional initiatives that strengthen category execution and commercial effectiveness

Support the development of category tools, frameworks, and guidelines for consistent execution
