Job Description:
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization's financial operations through accurate recording, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions. This role ensures the integrity of accounting records, assists with tax compliance and audit requirements, and provides financial insights to support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with solid experience in manufacturing accounting, particularly in financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory management, tax compliance, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting and Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
Costing and Profitability Analysis
  • Monitor and evaluate product or service costing data to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Conduct gross profit and margin analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Reconciliation and Account Management
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial information.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and related schedules in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of tax-related transactions and filings.
Audit Support
  • Assist in implementing audit recommendations and strengthening internal controls.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and readily available for review.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Collaborate with treasury, finance, operations, and other business units to support financial activities.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, banks, auditors, and government agencies as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, general ledger management, or related finance functions.
  • Proven experience in account reconciliations, audit support, tax compliance, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in product costing, standard costing, cost analysis, and gross profit reporting.
  • Must have hands-on exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Infor, or similar).
