The Asst. Engineering Manager manages daily plant engineering operations, overseeing system performance, supervising teams, analyzing issues, and recommending improvements and standardization across key utilities such as refrigeration, compressed air, power, steam, and preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Review and recommend updates to PM work orders, scopes, and timelines.
• Evaluate daily monitoring and inspection activities conducted by Engineering Technicians.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and initiate system and equipment upgrades as needed.
• Ensure the availability of critical resources to support continuous plant operations and compliance with internal and external audit requirements, including structural, wastewater, fire protection, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Lead pre-bid and bid evaluation processes, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and review, approve, and audit third-party work.
• Oversee spare parts procurement and inventory management.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work orders to direct reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, electrical power, water, steam, compressed air systems, and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Experience with Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM).
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams, improve processes, and implement new methods or technologies.
• Willing to work in Danao, Cebu.
